About me
Hi,
My name is Eilidh Louise Greig and I am a documentary and archive media artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Inspired by history and personal experiences, my work is wide ranging.
Most of my work is centred around Newhaven, a former fishing village now part of the wider city of Edinburgh. I also like to be experimental with other types of documentation such as landscape, portraiture and light.
I also have plenty of experience working in archives including National Museums of Scotland, Newhaven Heritage and National Library of Scotland.
My aim is to record disappearing cultures and identities as I believe photography gives us the ability to capture and preserve precious moments in time.
